The procedure starts with isolating your lips and gums with a protective gel. Next, we will combine two materials to activate the whitening agent before applying it to your teeth. You can receive as many as three 15-minute whitening gel applications, depending on your preferred shade. After the 15-minute session(s), your dentist will rinse the gel from your teeth and apply a fluoride treatment to help with sensitivity.

For added convenience, you can professionally whiten your teeth at home. The same teeth whitening solution used at our RNX Dental office is available for at-home treatment. You will be given bleaching gel and trays to use at home. If done properly, you should see results in about a week. Before and after at-home treatments, you must brush and floss your teeth to remove food and leftover bleaching gel. In addition, patients should clean trays after each use to avoid any bacterial growth.
